Quick question about Floor Mats

Just a quick question:

Does anyone know if either one of these uses a little hook to hold the driver's side in place?

Is there a big difference in the quality of the two?
Which should I get?

The ones on the left are the "Premium" floor mats ($70.20)

The ones on the right appear the be the "standard" floor mats. ($58.20)

The ones on the left appear to have the little hole that slides over the **** on the driver's side to hold in place. I can't see on the right.

I have a pair of the ones on the right, and they use the hook as well.

i have the "standard" floormats also, which have the eyelet on the drivers side to help keep in in place. i also prefer the standard floormats because i think the premium ones are a bit obnoxious...but that's just my opinion

Yes, the good ones have the hole on the drivers side.

They are a little wider and are thicker.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies!

It's kind of a tough choice b/c as Glyphon said, they are a bit on the obnoxious side.
BUT then there's time I look at them and think they're pretty nice... decisions, decisions.

(BTW, the prices I posted above are from Tussville Mazda. I checked Rosenthal but their shipping is too expensive)

wow, it's only $60 for the normal mats? That's pretty fair. I remember Honda wanted $90-100 for their crappy mats which interestingly enough were recalled later in the year because they would make the accelerator stick! doh!
I'm hoping to get some of the rubber mats eventually incidentally.

tramahound,

found them even cheaper! www.mazdasportparts.com

So far they have some of the cheapest shipping I've seen for some items.

All-weather Floormats?

Have any of you guys used the all-weather floormats? Seems my 8 came w/ both the standard (cloth) and the all-weather (rubber) mats. And, I've yet to use the rubber ones and wanted to know how people like them. Thanks.

I've got the all-weather mats for our lovely slushy winter days. They work well for what they are designed for: catching water, salt and crud; easily washable. They are a lot thicker than the standard mat so it does take a bit of foot repositioning and not too eye catching but certainly functional.
