i dont see why not, except that you would lose the peak warning functionality since you wouldn't be able to set individual limits

ah that sucks!^^^

I want to have the peak function but I don't want to extend the harnesses on all the gauges! I have 3 of these for my 8 but I'm going to see if I like em by using them in the 7 first.

Halo: You can set the limits and then just let the pad hang in the hole behind the gauge. or extend the wires and mount the pads somewhere else, like ashtray, center console, etc..

Very nice! Going to look into finding a couple of my own. Anyone have an idea of a price if I were to have a shop install this?

They are pretty easy to install. Which gauges exactly are you looking for so I can help you with any accessories you may need to make your install go smooth. We do offer free tech support also

oil temp, exhaust temp, voltage. I am not sure on installing the readers or where they would go. im sure I could handle the install inside the car, outside is a different story.

Voltage is the easiest, its just power and ground. For the oil temp I recommend using an oil filter adapter plate. If you can do an oil change you can install the plate and sender. The egt is going to be the only one that may require you to go to a shop. You need to drill the manifold and either tap the manifold for the bung or weld it in.

Well here's my install on some Evo Premium 60mm gauges. for my 2010 R3
You can see temps and pressure after a good run (now at idle).

Thanks Paimon for the help, made the install go alot easier.

WOW; I actually like that compared to those other mounts shown before. It looks pretty rugged and reminds me of the instrument cluster how it spans out with covers.

I was going to get those gauges in my SHO; how do you like them? They look REALLY SHARP!

So far so good, just finished the install yesterday. They have 4 different built in lighting colours to choose from,so I got the white for day and red for night.

The Premiums have 7 stages of dimming using the buttons on the front while the basic EVO have a dimmer pot screw that you can adjust.
