Power Windows not rolling up

Hi,
So i have installed 3 gauges (oil temp, oil pressure and water temp) into my car, and now my windows wont roll back up, heres the what i did:

Rolled down windows
Unhooked battery
tapped the 3 gauges to the 12v switched in the cigarette lighter (turn key)
Tapped the 3 gauges to the 12v light switched (ash tray light)
Tapped the 3 gauges to the 12v constant (Orange wire on the driver side (#13 on the fuse box))
Hooked battery up
turned key - YAY guages work :D
roll up window - not so much

So the question is - why are the windows not rolling back up?

This is no noise that i can hear to signify that the motor is getting power
I have checked ALL the fuses
I have checked that the orange wire is getting power
opened up the window switched and tested the wires - nothing shows power except the unlock
Power mirrors work both L&R sides
unlock/lock works
the window deactivation isn't on (cant test)
Sunroof works too

any help would be great!

ps. yes i did search but all old threads and nothing really of use.

What circuit does that orange wire power?
Have you tried disconnecting the gauges from it?

It really sounds like a fuse. I know you said you checked them, but remember a fuse can be blown, but still look good to the eye. I've also seen fuses partially blow and just add a large amount of resistance to the circuit. Test fuses with a multimeter set to an audible continuity beep. Use the test leads on the test points of each fuse. That should allow you to run through the fuses extremely quick. Don't have a multimeter? Start swapping them out with new fuses, just to help troubleshoot.

As for the dash lights, that happens anytime you disconnect the battery. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left until it stops, then all the way to the right until it hits the stop. That should take care of one. The other goes off after a couple starts.

The Orange wire (constant 12v) goes to the interior fuse box...thats acutally connected the the #9 or #10 fuze location. Yes as of currently my gauges are disconnected.

Hrmm i switched the window fuse out with a new one and the windows still wont work. What i found out last night was that the "night light" (red/white LED) that is in the window switch panel (lights the "Auto" and the ". . .") doesnt have power to it at all. i will replace all the fuses and see if that works.

I really hope to find a dam solution to this haha,

Replaced all the fuses and it was a no go.
Just went and dicked with it and i realized that the splice in the orange wire was faulty. Got the windows to roll up with a tester hooked to the good side of the wire.

If you are having this issue:
Check fuses
Check wire splicing
Check window Motor
Test power to the Switch panel in the car
Make sure you are getting power to the "night light" LEDs ( should be one for auto and another for the . . .)
