I'm planning to add a PIE aux-in by myself because I don't feel like soldering. I have 1 question. Where can I place the PIE adapter?

 

In the slot where the mp3 player would sit - underneath the cd player.

 

You mean where the tape/MD player would normally sit?

Now for the second part of my question. I've seen someone with a minijack female socket mounted near the accesary power socket. What do you call that part? and where can you get it? I tried looking here http://www.ramelectronics.net/index.html but couldn't find it.
