PIAA 1100X Fog lights installed

Well I finally got around to install a set of PIAA 1100X fog lights on my 8. (https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/installing-piaa-fog-lights-56216/ , 0 replies... thanks everyone :p )

anyways, I'm impressed on how freaking bright these things are... I dropped off the girlfriend tonight and she lives down some country roads and I can see a WHOLE bunch more forwarded and to the sides. Great investment. Got them on ebay (from an ebay store) for $150 shipped.

Here are some pics and where I placed them. They are in the location where the OEM ones were. The factory black brackets that hold the OEM fog light housing have a nice "L" shaped bracket that I mounted the PIAA to. They sit perfect in there. I'm trying to figure out a way to remove the glass part of the OEM fog light and put them in front of the PIAA's to protect them and keep them out of the view of prying eyes. However, the way they sit, you cannot notice the brand name. I have attached some... I like them . :D :D :D

They look pretty dang good. Was it pug-n-play or did you have to spice the wires for power?

I used to have piaa 1500xts fogs on my other car and used them as driving lights. I loved them. These look really good too. Did you consider just swapping out the bulbs?
