For some reason my parking lights stopped flashing when I lock or unlock the car. Just randomly from one day to the next. It still locks, but the lights don't flash, which is worrisome. Anyone seen this before?

 

Go close your trunk.

 

It's quite easy to bump the trunk release button on the remote without knowing about it and have the trunk un-latch - I've gotten in the habit of checking it to make sure that it is closed.

 

i as well, when walked around i just lift on the spoiler to make sure.

yea same here, i just got my 8 about 3 weeks ago, and then i noticed the lights not flashing. i was like wtf mate? but later that day i had to use the trunk and after i closed it and locked the doors the lights worked. lol im a noob. now go close your trunk.

 

OK yeah that was it haha. I feel retarded. Never done that before and I use the trunk all the time.

Ha ha ha thread resurrection because this happened to me last night!

 

Happened to me constantly. I had to turn off the trunk pop feature via the button in the glove box.
