My trim pieces look pretty bad from 5 years of wear and tear from the previous owner. I thinking about painting the pieces white.

To those of you who have already painted your interior trim, would a spray paint, DIY-job look good enough? Or should I shell out a bit more money to send it to a professional painter to get it sprayed correctly?

How much should both options cost? Any ideas?

 

I have 05 BLK 8 and i took all the trim out of my car and painted it red looks great, i have had so many complaments. I used krylon plastic paint from wal-mart its was about 5-6 bucks a can. Just make sure you clean all the pieces well. I used alcohol pads, or you can use rubbing alcohol and a rag. it only took 2 coats. I'll try to post a few pics in a day or so. Do Not paint! Use vinyl and wrap. If it ever gets a scratch its much cheaper to fix and will look much better then most diy paint jobs.

If you do the wrapping yourself it will cost you less then 50$ for the whole roll and that would be enough to do every thing on the inside a four times over. If you dont like it peel it off and put on a different color.
