Question Opinions on switch locations?

Hey, Just wanted to get some opinions from everyone which way you think I should mount these ignited switches for Nitrous and other accesories. Here are the photos.

Why not just put buttons on your steering wheel? :P

Because these are toggle switches not buttons. These are to power on various accesories that you add on to the car.

I think it looks very out of place and awkward in that location. Is there a location on the bottom of the dash to the left of the wheel, or are you into having it stick out for looks instead?

I need to show them off for sponsor purposes. I am thinking of either mounting them there or mounting them under the single DIN Pioneer screen right above the ac controls on a custom panel that I am currently working on.

Panel?

Have you had that center panel off? What is back there and how does it come off? It looks like the ideal place for my 'Engine Start' button.....

Try doing a search. There are quite a few threads that show how to remove either the center console piece around the shifter and also how to remove the stereo. I am planning on relocating the push button starter closer to the steering wheel once we are done fabricating our dual gauge pod that will replace the ashtray and lighter.

Try doing a search......thanks a bunch.
I can easily see that the six-pack cd fits on top of it, and how to get the shift surround off, I was asking what is immediately behind THAT panel.

Now THAT's funny... a new person with 22 posts telling StealthTL (of all people) with 421 posts to "do a search." LOL! Sorry, that's just too much of a switch. Your point about lots of people removing panels is valid, it's just funny the way it came out. :D

Sorry Stealth I didn't realize you have been posting on here so long. Hehe I am still unclear at what panel you are speaking about. the Stereo faceplate panel? Panel under the steering wheel? One of the dash panels?
