my nav system is currently inoperable, dealer is waiting to recieve upgrade disk, should have it in a few days.

now that the nav system is down, i notice i have NO front left audio. i figure the audio passes thru the nav system since it outputs to that speaker, but shoudl all the sound be gone fromt hat speaker when the nav is down? i'll have to ask the dealer about it i guess... anyone else have any clues?

 

that happened to me too - but when they upgraded my nav they also checked my door speaker and found some of them disconnected ( the result of a previous trip to the dealer for new power window motor) so I'm not TOTALLY sure, but I think that is the problem.
If you use your power mirror control can you hear it in the tweeter ? = bad ground

 

tried out the mirror thing.. yep, static noise. i'll have em check the grounds when i take it in in a few days
