Nightvision Video

Alright guys, now I know I have done some searching so keep it down with that. I've found the AVElectronics input set from mazdaparts the complete kit for ~$700.
Now I'm lookin for any other cheaper setups ones with at least 3 video inputs and preferably 1 audio input.

What I'm looking to do is install a DVD system (no ****) also a nightvision front camera for nighttime driving and maybe a backup camera. So far all I'm found was that one complete kit a "lite" version which won't really cut it, and just the custom aux-in for audio. I also don't want to switch out the actual navi screen because I don't really want to go through that work.

you don't need the complete kit...that includes lots of extras

there is just the switcher
here, the lite version you could use anyhow and then have a seperate switcher but it will be a pain in the rear so chekc this one out :

Yea I guess I could just get the switcher unit and then buy generic wires. I figured I could just get the kit and then not really worry about doing any wiring.

I was also wondering if you guys know of any Long Range IR cameras, hopefully sub $400. The passive ones seem to be better for automobile use but If you know of an Active system that can see 300ft+ with lights that would be nice too.

I've found a whole bunch of viable options but none I can actually get any prices on. I know Raytheon and another company actually make systems for company install like Cadillac, but I can't even find an area for a quote.

yea all that seems easy enough, the choice of the complete kit isn't a lack of ability thing but more of a lazy thing.

Most importantly though does anyone know of a decent IR camera at a decent price so when I do get the switcher I'll have a camera for it.
