New shiftboot installed

Got it from redlinegoods.com.
Very high quality, and installation was a breeze.

The OEM one is not real leather, and had started to crack in a few of the folds.

I think most people on here have one already from shiftstyle. Looks identical.... and in fact he offered double stitching and in just about any color you want. Pretty cheap too.

I'm looking to get a new one of these as well. I've got the Shinka and I'm not sure if there is a big difference, it seems to have the same cheapo boot that the other cars have. Also the plastic chrome trim around the ring of the boot holder is coming off too, probably from aggressive cleaning prior to my owning it.

BUUUUUUUUUMP

i am looking to buy a new shift BOOT; i think shiftstyle is on the fritz so redline seems like a great option! i also have an illuminated shift **** on order...anyone know WHY the shiftbook is different for non-illuminated vs illuminated? i guess i'm just curious before i order. i have the rp short shifter too but i don't think that affects it.

sweet! did you just use a spray paint for plastic? what did you use to clear coat? i know that's a dumb question but i've had a tough time in the past find a spray clear coat...

i think i might do that to the shift boot ring, it's a little marked up so black would look good!

oh, chino...i don't see it listed in your siggy but do you have the short shifter? if so, did you just order the standard height? from memory, i don't think the rp is much lower than stock, just shorter throws. but they offer a smaller shift boot option...
