New Black/Yellow Leather Seats [Katzkin]

I have just ordered my Black/Yellow Katzkin Leather seats (Ultimate package with door parts as well). I paid only $375 with shipping to Canada (Thanks to a fellow user who directed me to a eBay link for that price).

I will post install / final product pictures as soon as I get them in the mail and begin the installation.

oh no. I just happen to like contrasting colors and the look of carbon. the look started one day and i just kind of rolled with it. A friend of mine does interiors and he wanted to do it so i paid for material. Also i was glad to see the packers win too bad Farve wasnt around.

Well when you ask him, "Can you make my RX8 into rolling temple for the Pittsburgh Steelers?" what did you expect?

Here are some (old) pic's I had from soon after the install... Essentially this is pretty close to what they look like today, though. Just cleaned them up a bit, straitened out what I could, etc.

The install had gone pretty good, spent about 30 good hours from front to back to get it done (This includes removing seats, the cloth, attaching the leather and re-installing seats). It was tedious, that's for sure, but totally worth it in the end!

I will definitely get some better ones once spring rolls around and I get the car back out from storage

You break the rotor symbols on the front seats? They both look misaligned/falling. But the seats themselves look great. Any pics from further back? Donno if it's just the camera, but the yellow looks more orange.

Had to take them apart but they aren't broken, with the leather in there it makes for a much bigger gap for the two pieces to come together, though. Like I said these pictures are basically right after the install, so nothing was 'finalized' yet as it is now. Took quite a while to finish the front seats - those rotors and connecting parts of the seat caused a lot of issues but luckily I was able to work through all of it.

The color is off in the pictures, as it is more yellow, but definitely not as yellow as the car itself. In person they are clearly yellow, but have an orange tint to them (more less just darker yellow). At first it being a darker yellow set me off a bit, but it actually looks really good.

I bought my girlfriend a new dslr, so come spring ill take some pictures that better represent the color. And I'll take some farther back shots, too
