Sometimes when I start the car I can turn on the radio, and sometimes nothing happens. Seems to be random.

One clue (?) is that when the radio doesn't work the outside temperature gauge doesn't work either. Anybody else have this? I probably have to take it in, but I might be doing something wron. (Although turning on a radio seems simple enough.)

 

Probably a loose connection in the rear. Climate control and radio are using plugs close to each other. The DIY forum can show you how to remove the parts but it will take you about an hour and a half if you do it carefully and there's a pain in the *** screw that is hard to get to. It's best to just take it to the dealer because in case it's not only the connection.
