dear god don't use crutchfield, it's usually list + 10 percent. This would go against your "cheaper the price is better" philosophy.

To install and aftermarket radio the choices are:
1. Metra kit
2. Corksport kit
3. home brew kit from a good stereo shop

I listed them in order from cheapest to most expensive. You can read up on metra here: http://www.metraonline.com/
There is also a bunch of good threads on this very site that go over the use of the metra kit and almost any option you can think of.

Metra kit is cheapest (~$160). Corksport is no longer available (~$425), but might be able to find used from someone. The odds of find a local shop to take that job on are slim to none (~$400-1200). Possible, but 99% of shops aren't going to get their hands involved in the mess it would certainly be.... even if they were skilled enough.

cheapest box

cheapest subwoofer that's worth a damn.

cheapest amp that's worth a damn.

Pretty much any cheap 8g wiring kit will be fine in this case.

If this is too much money, I suggest buying used or maybe going with a powered bazooka tube. If you can afford more, just say so.
