I am trying to hook up the PIE adapter to the back of the HU unit. I only have 2 plugs in the back. 1 where the main wires go and the other were the display hooks in. I do not see an aux connector. Am I missing something.

The PIE adapter does not directly connect to the head unit. Depending on what you're installing, you need a patch cord that goes from the PIE unit to RCA plugs or a 3.5mm plug. Check out Mazdaparts.com
