hi . i am from malaysia. i recently bought an rx-8 japanese model . the whole navigation system is in japanese. does the dvd-rom allow me to play cd's on it. as i tried and it wont play automatically. is there a way that i can make the navigation system to be in english instead of japanese and can i make it play cd's or dvd's ?? pls need help urgently. tq.

as for japanese...you maybe could set it to display english but Malaysia may not be displayed anyway

pic up an avelectronic box from www.mazdaparts.com and then hookup an XBOX, PS2, DVD player, computer or whatever and then you can play dvds and cds
