Navi Harness

I have an 07 rx8 sport, everything in this bad boy is stock, just bought the navi system on e bay. unfortunately it came with no wires or harness... mazda already told me they wont sell me what I need, but rather everything i could ever possibly need plus a million more things for my god damn soul... if anyone knows where i can get like a universal harness that i can put straight on the navi or just any other option would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

To summarize it for you: there is no way to get that harness. Check this thread (and the othe threads that are linked there) for more info on the topic:

Some people have been able to create their own mini-circuit to help with that problem with success, but it will require a bit of work on your side. I've been thinking about buying a nav hood and doing exactly that.

Just curious...how much did you pay for that hood on ebay? I'm still looking for one(you can PM me).

I bet you did very little research before you bought that Navi off Ebay. Take a look at what you need to do in order to install the OEM Nav in a car that didn't have one. I think you will be re-listing that item.

taking apart your car to put that thing in is a nightmare (i just installed a hood) i didn't use the harness and opted to just make the circuit (which i am still having problems with) lol. atm it is hand powered untill i finish the crcuit then revision two is going in

How about taking out the Nav System in the hood and installing a completely different nav system...

most people take out the screen in that hood and put a 7" xenarc screen (or others) in there and connect it to a carpc which allows you to play mp3's, dvd's, navigation, odb2, and tons of other stuff. (i just got done doing it).

it really isn't too hard to take apart / out the stuff in that hood. but now a days just putting in another nav system imo is pointless.
