Just got my RX-8 Thursday and I'm extremely happy with it thus far except for one little problem...

Houston TX (where I live) is not listed as a city in the destination menu, only Houston, Missouri :/

Neither is my ZIP code or any others that surround mine...

The system does great tracking me and showing my location at all times and all that info is correct...

For example, yesterday I went to get a burger at a Fuddruckers so I thought I'd have the NAV system find the closest one and direct me to it (just for fun)... The closest one it brought up was more than 600 miles away (in Missouri again)...

So I dunno if this has happened to anyone else and there's an obvious fix I'm missing so I thought I'd share my thoughts here (especially since the NAV helpline isn't open on weekends)...

Have you checked to see if you have the correct map region selected in the Nav setup?

 

Ahhh good call... I must have skipped over that little detail in the book...
