Anyone found an easy way to interface the nav controls with a computer? Something off the shelf with connectors would be great, but also anything that emulated a keyboard and was programmable would work. Something like this is a possibility:

It's kinda pricey at $40 though and is overkill.
I suppose the cheapest way might be to dissect a keyboard and take the controller out of it. Either way, there might be ground/signaling issues depending upon how the controller is multiplexed.
