I hear alot of people complaining on this forum in regards to the Bose system's "lack of low-end." I beg to differ with them. There is some low-end there and I noticed, even at moderate volume levels, my doors rattle. It's annoying the hell out of me. It's both doors and I'm ready to do something about it. I've already done some experimenting with "pressing" on the door panels and I can get it to stop by doing that in the right spots.

I really don't feel like having it to the dealer for them to tell me "nothing is wrong." I'll probably end up fixing it on my own, but I'm feeling a little lazy about pulling the door panels.

Anyone else experience this problem?

 

I have. I took mine to the dealer and they added some "insulating material", and the problem went away.

The only problem is they only did one door, I didn't have a rattle in the passenger door until after they "fixed" the driver door.

 

fxd lol they took insultation from your passenger door to put it in your driver door insulation isnt cheap you know lol :D

 

Your lucky they didn't just remove the doors and say "we found the source of the rattle and removed it".

 

Lucky they didn't just shoot some Great Stuff into the door. It'll expand to fill every hole, pocket, or pore in the universe if you want it to.
