Multiple accessories on single lighter?

Hey,

I'm looking to add a push button start to my car but I already have my xm radio hardwired to the front cigarette lighter. Would it be overloading the lighter if I were to tap into it again for the push button starter or should it be ok? The radio is seperatly fused but the starter will most likely use the fusing for the lighter socket.

I would do that, but the arm rest cigarette lighter is harder to get to. I guess I'll just have to do that then.

Don't know how much juice the little push button start pulls, but provided its the same as most electronics you would plug in.... I'd tap them both in. Think its fused at 10amps. Your sat radio pulls less than 1 amp.
