MP3 Tags for Display
Hi, I have the stock upgrade MP3 player.
What tags do I need to attach to the MP3's to get them to display track info on the dash?
Thx.

Normal ID3v1 tags should do. I think it was previously mentioned that it sometimes has problems with ID3v2 tags. A search of the forum might yield more information.

Create your own ID3 tage
You can get many free programs to make your own ID3 tags and even Windows Media Player will do it, just make each tag understandable in 12 letters because scrolling the text is a pain.

I believe the inclusion of high bit ASCII or Unicode characters will result in the unit displaying "NO TITLE". I think I have a few Mötley Crüe songs that it can't show. You may be limited to just standard 7-bit ASCII. The best advice I can give you is to burn it to a compatible CDRW and see what it does.
