Mp3 file hiarchy

I recently burnt two mp3 disks and I noticed that the mp3's in the sub directories are not listed in order, it doesn't appear that it sorts them by name, but rather by burn order or something. Anyone else notice this? I used Roxio 7 to burn it (tried mp3 disk and data disk), maybe I'll try nero next time.

good luck (and ask Jasonhamilton about any mp3 problems...he has had it for a while and loves it)

Its helped me to put serial numbers 01,02,03.... before songs in folders because otherwise the mp3 player goofs up the order for some wierd reason or another, maybe the ID3 tags?

Yeah, I use a similar process, I name all my mp3's in this order: (artist)-(track #)-(song name)

I used nero last night and specified the "Track at once" instead of "Disk at once". and it worked beautifully.
