I know. I had to deal with that when I had my box replaced back in December, which still didn't fix the issue. Should I just contact the seller directly, or go through Metra to setup the exchange through the seller like I did last time?

What a PIA process. Metra clearly gets an F in customer service IMHO.

If it's been longer than a year since you have originally purchased the kit then I doubt you will be able to do an exchange, but yeah give it a shot if it hasn't been more than a year.

It's been about a year, but I had the kit swapped out in December, so technically, shouldn't I still be eligible to swap the replacement out? I think it's like another transaction since I had to buy a new one, then send back the old one back in December.

They had to buy a new one? It can't hurt to contact the seller/metra so I'd give it a go!

Finally got around to finishing up the extension for the ac extension harness. I've attached a pic of it; yes I know I could have used colored wires but that would've been a pain to buy each color wire.

Now just to finally install the steering wheel controls interface that I never installed on my last 8
