Metra/Double Din Help

EDIT: I figured out the issue stated below, but I've run across something else. With the wiring harness adaptor that comes with the metra kit, if I DON'T have a navigation or dvd double din system do I need to plug that 10 pin harness that is attached to the adapter into the axxess box?

So I've got a metro double din kit and a Kenwood DPX500BT double din radio. I got the AC and hazard switches all installed on the metro faceplate but I'm having trouble figuring out what to do about the factory power cord harness and the harness that came with my radio. I've attached pictures of both, but I have no idea how to hook up these two harnesses. How do I know what goes where?

you need another harness that matches up with your car.

subs wont hit

i have a different problem, i installed the metra kit and it all works but to get the speakers to have sound and the amp to turn on i have to splice 3 wires together. it worked with my old setup (cheap sony single din, alpine 500w 12in sub and 500w amp) now i have a kenwood double din and kicker cvr 12in x2 and im not sure what the amp is but its 1000w. when i have the radio on the subs slightly hit, but when its on bluetooth it doesnt at all. i tapped on the coax cables and i can hear a small thump in the subs. I also can hear them hit when i open/close my door and hit the power windows. oh and i can hear static come out of the front and rear speakers. I really dont know what to do from here.

You have more than one issue. First, Kenwood's play out of the front speakers only while on Bluetooth by default. Go into your Bluetooth settings and switch it to all speakers. I get customers coming back often for this.

Second, sounds like you have a grounding issue. Ensure all grounds in your system are solid. Including the headunit. You might even think about grounding it directly to some metal behind the dash vs the actual ground wire in the factory harness. Try it out and give us updates with further details.
