Angry map light housing removal

hi everyone,

im a total newb at this and im really hoping one of you guys can help me out

im wanting to remove the maplight roof console so that i can swap out the bulbs in it for some blue led's like i've done in the doors, rear roof light and wing mirror puddle lights

however i cant seam to get the console to come down! i've removed the two screws located in the sunglasses holder but when i try and pull the console down from the roof it wont budge

i've heard some people say you just pull it, others say there are two little metal spring clips you need to press in but what im really after is a step by step possibly with pics of how to remove it

i'd be soo sooo gratefull if anyone can help me as its really bugging me having those two remaining white lights

oh and i have a uk spec rx8 if that makes a difference?

Alright......I'll help you, but you really should use the SEARCH button(Advanced works better). Also get use to going to the DIY(Do it yourself) area of this site and you'll find a lot of what you will need in the future.
