Question Looking for some assistance with dash mod

I have a Zune and want to mount it in some way in the car. I've decided to go with buying this Belkin accessory, and then using the hole next to the glove compartment and convert it to a cigarette plug for power and to hold it. My request is for anyone that knows if that hole can be used like that, or has already done a similar mod. I tried searching for "hole glove compartment" but didn't get a whole lot of what I was looking for. Doing it this way, I can easily take the whole unit with me to another car and if I ever do the aux-in mod, this thing has a line-out on it already.

Thanks in advance.

I have NO idea what hole you are talking about -- maybe if you posted a pic that would help...

THIS hole

MSPaint ftw

I believe it's the hole meant for disabling the airbag on the passenger side, if you get that equipped.

Hole ?!? I thought that the passenger airbag came standard in all RX8s...
The best way to mount any device (mobile, PDA, player etc) is the CTD leather stand, which is specifically designed for the RX8

Airbags are standard, but in the US, being able to disable them is only standard if there is no back seat for children to sit.
