LOC... can I get two of them?
A four channel LOC, and a two channel one? The one that is a single 6 channel is really pricey, and I am on a budget.

Let me know if there are any drawbacks to this please!

Yes, you can do that. You can even use a 4 channel LOC & a splitter if you want. It all depends on what you are doing with your whole system. You usually get what you pay for.
