Lilliput 629 Software problem

I'm just putted in a carpc and everything works great except one annoying thing... I can't get that damn touchscreen to work. The monitor works fine but no clikely-click. using a keyboard all the time gets old quick

I tried to search this site and google etc but can't seem to find anybody else that has/had problems with it... So whats the magical thing to do to get it work?

Software is installed and touchscreen device is ok in the task manager.

You might want to try mp3car.com as this is a niche problem and not something many people here would know to troubleshoot.

With that said, I used a 629 for my former carpc build.

Are you using an extension to get the touchscreen usb cable to the pc? Is it plugged into a hub or directly onto a USB port on the motherboard?

What happens when you try to calibrate? No touchscreen detected?

Yeah I know its a long shot but its seems to be common in carpc building here. =)

checked mp3car and got some ideas, maybe I installed some wires wrong when I putted it into the OEM GPS House.

Im using extension high end USB cabel, the screen is in OEM GPS House and the computer in the trunk. No USB Hub, its connected directly to the motherboard.

The Device manager finds it and it is a touchsceen device under "mouses". everything seems to be correct, if I try a 4 point calibration it dosent complain but nothing happens when I touch the screen.

Im thinking its a hardware problem after reading on mp3car, well well taking all down again will be fun.

Thanks for the tips.

Do you see your mouse arrow in the middle of the screen when the computer starts up? What about if you connect an actual USB mouse to the computer at the same time, does that work or does it keep getting dragged into one corner?

You might have the screen pressed too tightly against the OEM housing, causing a permanent 'touch' in one of the corners.
