Lighter Tap Question

This must be a pretty dumb question, but I couldn't find a thread that spelt it out plainly for a noob like me.

The Cigarrette Lighter's plug has 2 wires, a black wire with a red stripe, and a solid yellow wire. Which one is positive? I was thinking black/red but I'd like to be sure before I make a mess.

Electrical always seems daunting to me.

Edit:
Ok thanks to the person who responded and a few other sources. Yes the positive wire runs to the center of the lighter. In my car, that happens to be a solid yellow wire (I'm not sure if the colors change car to car). The other brightly colored wire running to the light next to the lighter (i think it was red/yellow or orange/yellow) is another positive wire than you can tap if you need something to be active when Headlights are on (such as a dimmer for a gauge).
