Question LCD Glitch/Broken?

Got in my car today (04 w/ Bose) and started off to work, looked over and my LCD screen for Time/ Radio/ AC/ Temp was flickering intermittently and wasn't displaying properly. There were a few "@" sympbols "90.3" which is one of my regular presets. Radio stil worked fine as did the AC system. The screen was just glitching. I pressed all the buttons, which all worked but failed to help with the LCD screen at all.

I searched the forum - all I found was a scratched screen thread and a LCD that didn't display at all.

Nothing out of the normal leading up to this. I haven't taken the car apart or anything else that would effect the system - that I can think of.

Any help would be appreciated!

Unhook the fuse (the fuse under the hood) and leave off for about 10-15 seconds and then put it back in. My buddies did this awhile back and after we did that, everything was fine.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery took care of this for me. Just needed a reboot.

this is starting to happen to quite a few 8's. i find when i push in the top right of the lcd it works fine. most people have fixed it by replaceing the lcd. replacing the cables and stereo have not seemed to fix the issue.
