LCD Mount

I have recently came across a couple of these PS One LCD screens for about 18 bucks a piece. After I found out they could be hacked for VGA I purchased a couple of them with the intention of putting them in my RX8. I've been trying to figure out the best way to mount a 5" LCD in the car (I'll probably just use one of them for this purpose)

Anyone have ideas? what are you guys currently doing for LCD mounts in the RX8?

I'm doing mine this way:

It is a tray like this:

I'm using this touch screen monitor (only in black) from XenarcDirect:

The "brain" is the guts of a Dell Inspiron laptop which, when stripped of all the extraneous stuff (flat panel, batteries, touchpad, case, etc.), is only 3" by 11" and 1/2" thick. It will fit behind the glove box with all of my other electronics.

I'll have an entire install thread at the end of next week once I get it all fabricated and installed.

That's cool Jeff - but aren't you afraid that with the screen in plain sight and it not being retractable or hidden in any way, you're going to invite a thief to break into your car?

I don't really leave my car anywhere. Occasionally, I'll park it at the mall for an hour, but that is about it. I just don't use the car for stuff that requires I leave it out in the open, unattended.
If I do need to leave it, It is just one security-keyed screw and a cable.

For the casual thief, he is going to get snagged by the alarm as soon as he touches the car.
For the pro, he would rather have a real NAV screen because my VGA is only $400 retail.
