Kicker Solo Baric
Anyone have a Kicker Solo Baric?
I just got mine in today and am going to put it in the '8 tonight. I got a Kicker Solo Baric 10" with a ported Box. I've had 2 in my Mustang and 1 in a truck, but was just wondering if they were fair sounding in the '8.

I'm running two 10" L7's on Kicker KX1200 and it's just bad ***. I've been involved with car audio for quite a while, did the IASCA and USAC circuit in the mid 90's and there's been very few times Ive heard this much bass out of a pair of 10's.
I've never metered it, but I'd guesstimate it be turning around 140- 144 SPL @ 30 db. It's a rear facing, ported box tuned to 30 db.

Well, Finally got mine installed. I'm still waiting on my amp, but I got the 10" L7 with a ported box and a profile amp (had it for 3 years... still waiting on mine to come in). I am extremely impressed. I have 2 Kicker Comp VR 10s in my Mustang and they don't touch this set up. I am very satisfied.

Do you get a lot of trunk vibration? I want to get started on my stereo install, but I'm worried on the vibration that the trunk will make from the subs.
Thanks

I get very little vibration at all. Usually the only rattles I get are things in my front door panels or my trunk. Once a week when it's clean, no rattles.

lol, my trunk lid jumps about a half inch. Ive got the entire trunk dynomatted, so it doesnt really rattle though.
The problem Im having now is everything back there keeps vibrating loose. My high end amp's screwed to the front of the enclosure so you can see it thru the pass-thru, and it's fell off twice. Once because the screws rattled out then most recently they just sheared off. The box itself has come unscrewed from the floor a couple times and the brackets I made up attaching the top front of the box to the rear deck keep falling off too.
With the way it jumps around, I predict my spoiler's gonna probobly work its way loose soon

I also have a 10 " L5 in Bassworx SPL enclosure powered by a KX600.1..Fits perfectly in the recess of the trunk.. Kicks really solid and smooth with 40-50% polyester fill stuffed into main chamber (inside past the port).. A fellow at Visions Electronics said he has installed systems for 15 yrs and he was surprised by the bass generated inside the car.. whats sick is theres a 2500 watt 10 " solo X and a 2500W amp combo available by Kicker!!!
