Nice job, Jedi. Are you still running that exact same set up or have you changed anything? I'm thinking of upgrading my system from bose.....but I'll think I'll start a new thread for that.

I haven't changed a thing and I still LOVE the sound. Thinking of adding a little more dynamat to the front doors sometime soon.

What would something like that run on? Extra battery?

First of all, looks like you did a good job! I have a few questions though...
1. Why did you use tweets in the rear? Aren't the Kappa 6x9's 3-ways? Why not just use a good 6.5" component system in the back?
2. How did you hook up the tweets in the rear? Did you use a crossover? If so, which one?
3. What tool did you use to cut the holes for the tweets in the rear?

1. The bose system had tweets back there so just figured I'd be thorough.
2. Tweeters in the rear are using the Infinity Crossovers.
3. In the words of Einstein, "Make things as simple as possible, never simpler." We used a razor blade and a steady hand.

Thanks for the compliments! I always get a smile when I see someone's bumped this thread.

Thanks bro! HAHA, I almost forgot we topped out that DB meter at our Dyno Day. That was good stuff. Oh, and I'm thinking of turning up the amp a bit more... you're gonna need a bigger db meter.

It's awesome that they did a quick snag of the pic... it's labeled as "http://www.4080enclosures.com/shop4080/store/catalog/RX8boxJedi.jpg"

Feel the force!

I was just curious as to the numbers, like 140's, 150's etc. Mine was projected in the mid 140's but we never took a reading, and now we're redoing the entire system. (oops lol) Cool to see member's rides get props, hopefully I'll be getting some Soundstream love when mine is all said and done

Canary: XdeedubbX was sitting in the back of the car with the DB meter, I don't really remember what the readings were though.

Looks great. And I'm sure it's plenty loud. But there is no way you're doing LEGAL mid-140's from two 10"s in small sealed enclosures in an 8.

Thanks fire!
I think the meter went up to 130 or maybe 135. We pegged it but I don't remember what the max was. (i know we didn't hit 140 though)
