Hello,
My CD changer jammed up today, and I was wondering if anyone knew of this as a recurring problem, and maybe has a fix, etc...?
My local dealer was very cool, they ordered me a new head unit, but I still would like to get my discs out, and maybe even save a trip back there to get this work done.
Any ideas?
I have a 2005, a few months old...

They'll replace the head unit (my rep said it was just the CD changer part of the HU, but I think it was the whole thing), and will send you the stuck CDs in the mail.

Unfortunately, mine was broken by the time it got to me. I hope the same doesn't happen to you.

Fortunately, I had a backup copy.

Of course, I just so happen to have 5 hard-to-replace discs in there right now... lucky me.

Mine only took ~3 weeks.

Call your dealer. I believe the manufacturer sends the disks back to the dealer and the dealer sends them to you. Perhaps they didn't send them to you because they were broken? (Even though they sent my broken one).
