Pioneer D1 In RX8
Well after a little work, modification, fiberglass and wiring, we did it, a Pioneer D1 in the dash of an RX8 and everythings working. Air conditioning, upper display and navigation. I'm posting some pictures, if you have any questions e-mail me bruce@soundconcept.com Its hard for me to get back to all the clubs with the mods that we do.

Pretty nice install. I had mine just be one complete mold, here are some pictures of the finish piece of mine. It's an Eclipse AVN5435.
Nice work, did you relocate the stock deck to? What a pain hu?

Dude it looks great. The picture on the right is very confusing to me. Dont take this the wrong way but what made you choose the D1 if you allready have nav? The D1 still requires an externall DVD source. I completely understand the ambition to replace the stock HU though. I have the N2 in my 8 and i couldnt be happier.

(me getting sick and tired of people relocating the entire HU to the trunk only to find resistance problems and thus a half-assed functioning a/c dial and emergency blinkers erradic)
