Looks good. But I think your amp is underpowered for those subs.. They are 500watts rme each. And they can handle more (mine do) so you might put an amp upgrade on the list to think about.. But its always nice to have more alpine guys around

I just got a chance to look at your pics - i orginally just saw this on my phone.. i didn't notice you have 2 amps - then that should be fine..i thought you only had one of those amps for both of those subs - I retract my original post.

and thats a pretty nasty cut you got there.. and stiches? wow - i'm gonna guess it was the brace bar behind the rear seats? that thing has cut me a couple times.. so i got mad and put duct tape on the sharp parts

and i also must admit.. i really don't like your mic placement.. I put mine on the top of the a pillar - and i have it halfway sticking out.. so it's being held in there by the a pillar itself and it's out of the way so nobody will see it unless i point it out

as for the PDX - can you fit it on top of the box between the rear speakers? so the wires would be hidden in the back and you can still get to the controls up front

okay on youre original post i thought you meant i should get bigger subs because the amps could handle them..i believe those kenwoods can actually put out 800rms so have the gain at about half i think but im not positive...

by eyeing it up it might actually fit on top..i would be very happy if that was the case.

.as far as mic placement..ha i really had no idea where to put it..that was my first installing one of them..

and yes you know this car very well..it was the brace for the rear seats...by the end of it i had five cuts from that thing but only one of them needed stitches cuz it bled for a couple hours ha.

.i can always move the mic..afterall i still don't have the kinks worked out of this thing..

i can't get my phonebook on my HU..under phonebook transfer there is no start button..and the other thing which is a lot bigger problem is in nav mode, it doesn't sense that my car is moving..which im also not sure about..i would also like to add a piece of wood with cutout sections with plexiglass over the two amps in cap so you could see them but not any of the exposed wiring, so i still got some work to do...

thanks a lot for the input

LoL no its for his HU - it has voice commands, and also a handsfree bluetooth connection to his cellphone - so you can have phone conversations through your stereo

I love mine because when i get a call it automatically mutes my music and the phone rings, so i never miss a call because i had my music up too loud.

that's the kind of question to ask at avic411.com - but yes the minutes are set by the gps and the time zone you set manually.. At least that's how my z2 is
