Does anyone out there know how to switch to the Ipod user interface when using Ice link puls? I must be missing something trying to get it to change. Any help will be appreciated.

 

Use your stereo to switch to disk 6. This will display the IceLink menu on your iPod. Then press the track up or down button several times on your stereo until you select the "iPod UI" menu item. Once that is selected, press >> on your stereo.

I will try that again. There seems to be a few seconds delay for the track to change when you use the denison UI. Is this normal?

 

If you don't have enough playlists loaded in your ipod you may need to switch the to a lower disk number. I have 4 playlists and I access the "iPod VI" menu using disk 5. Be sure to update your firmware on your ipod to 2.06. It works much better than 2.05.

 

Yes, sometimes it takes 10 - 20 seconds before the IceLink menu appears. Also, sometimes I have trouble getting the IceLink menu to appear. It always works eventuallly, but seems a little flakey.

 

"Flakey" is an understatement :D

 

I finally switched to the Ipod UI and everthing is good now. You can still switch tracks with the steering but interface is much, much better.
