I'm going to go out and buy some lights for the interior and I'm debating on what color I should get? I'll be replacing the lights inside the door panels near the bottom, and then I will probably change the map lights and the lights that light up the panel of the window controls just don't know what color. I was thinking about blue because my alarm added a blue flashing light for when it's armed, but then I was thinking about red because it will probably match better?

 

I swapped my courtesy lights out to red and added led sticks under the dash and it came out nicely...Ill see if I can get some pics up tonight if it stops raining outside..

 

How many lights do I need to replace and what's the numbers for them?

I want to change the light on the bottom corners of the doors, and then the two lights up top where you can turn on yourself by pushing the button, and then is there any others?

I heard they are 194?

 

I have a friend who replaced a few of his lights with black lights. Was with an RSX, but it has the same red light interior theme as us. Looked pretty clean, but not sure I'd do it.

 

Ok, well I'm trying to get the dome light off and I'm having a lot of trouble. I've done searches and have found nothing. Help!

BTW I went to Kragen and bought some red lights

 

Was finally able to get the dome light out. Just had to really pull, was pretty scared, oh well, I got it and change the lights. I have the courtesy lights and map lights switched to red and now I just need to find a red light for my rear light.

Also, in the threads, it seems like everyone is using LED's whats the difference between LED's and the kind that I am using?

We will see how well the lights do when it's dark tonight.

 

i used the amber 194s from my clear corners for the map lights ( gives it a really cool glow) so much better than the white or blue peeps normally do.. although "usablility"of the map lights have significantly decreased.

194 orange from another cars clear corners for the door lights and a red 194 for the licence plate light.. i tell peeps its stock.. ehehe


still looking for the orange dome light .. not easy to find.
