Interior falling apart

My front and rear defrost buttons have both cracked in half (wierd). My ashtray lid wont stay up. I have to hold it up. And where the cup holders are that cover wont shut anymore. Im not rough with any of those parts at all so i dont know what happened. Anyone have any problems like this.

Im bringing it to the dealer tommorow morning. Hopefully they wont give me any problems about fixing them.

this should be moved to the tech section but to quick answer some questions:

1.There is a TSB about the cracked defrost buttons...they'll swap them out for free with the new version

2. The ashtray lid was probably your fault but if they don't fix it or want to charge just take it apart and repair the springing mechanism (easy)

3. The sliding center console door...not well engineered...the track does slip and the button eventually breaks...should be covered underwarranty...especially if you complain

I broke the center console button on mine. They replaced it for free under warranty.

Yes, the buttons were addressed, not sure about the ashtray and the console, I had mine replaced, broke again in no time. Not worth the effort as it is designed terribly.

Console replaced because of bad sliding door the first week. I agree with truemagellen, bad engineering. I have 10K miles on her now and she is "OK" but not great. Still hangs occasionally.

i found that the biggest cause of the lid coming off the track is leaning on it when entering/exiting the car. i pushed mine off the track (but didn't break it) several time when i first got the car before i figured out what was happening. i didn't even realize that i was doing it either. since then i've had no problems with it.
