I purchased my RX-8 used a while back, and this is something that's been bothering me since I got it.

It looks as though the previous owner cut out this plastic part for some reason, to which I don't know. It looks like crap, but it's not really noticeable, it's just been like that little thing bothering the heck out of me.

I guess I'm asking if anyone can particularly identify this piece and if anyone has an idea on how to repair / replace it. It's right below the passenger and driver side C-pillars in the back seats. I highlighted the damage with a red box.

I have both those back ones in pretty good shape, nothing like those pics you have. I can clean them up and take some pics if you want??

They were extra ones I had laying around the house......or I also have a whole set for $100 bucks (all six door panels) I am just trying to get rid of them. if you take care of shipping I can get them too you.

ChadD yea my car was stripped to the bone haha, I will post pics once I have everything finished after April 5th. I am still trying to get the exhaust finished but its coming together slowly but surely haha....
