I'll be doing a lot of work hopefully with thisguy, so I'll give a review when its all said and done..

Looking to have my GT appearance package lit pieces done, possibly an +INGs wing, Gauge cluster pod, and my engine bay covers.

Should look pretty trick when its all said and done.

It looks like you bought some of that CF overlays stuff and just stuck it on, right?

i do it this way in my own car so it can be returned to stock if wanted. yes it is real cf and done as a overlay with stock peice as a mold the pics are not of it secured down more just set there. i guess you could buy real carbon overlay with the right resin to make it flex and then heat up and bend to fit. mine has a first coat that keeps shape and last to keep flex without cracking and breaking

It all looks great, but you should try and make actual cf interior replacement pieces instead of overlays. Now that would be SICK!

ive thought of that but the way cars are with all the interlocking clips it would be next to impossible and with the flares and other parts. if it would be done this way your still looking at using 2 sided tape or another means of securing. then your talking hours and hours of molding fitting, reshaping, test fitting, reshaping only to get maybe 60-80 peices to a mold you get the idea a lot of time. also this is just a hobbie when i layed off not trying to make a living im keeping everything to rx8 owners and a famiy member or two. until i get back to work and im going to slow down

Very nice. I know what it takes to make CF parts and applaud your efforts.

yeah its not easy it take pacients and now i see why the cost is what it is. a lot of people have asked me to do a few parts the latest is on a time restriction i like doing it but not so much that ill make a living off it i dont mind doing it for and 8 owners, friends, or a family member but i think it will stop there. but thanks for you imput there will be more after a few day break than i im gonna try a few things to work out some complex curve parts
