Info on how to take out the center radio panel
I want to replace my cd player for mp3 player and I want to know how to take out the radio panel? First I took out the center panel (shifter panel), then the ashtray panel and removed one bolt, closet to the driver side, behind the radio. I loosen the radio panel a little but it seems stuck. This is far as I got, any info I would appreciate it.

from what i can tell your at the part where there are 2 screws at the bottom of the radio (behind the cig lighter thing) a very important step to do right now is to take off your shirt and put it over the shifter, so you don't scratch your HU
then you take your hand and grab the radio from the bottom it kind of feels like a handle in the middle - then use a gentle but firm tug to pull out the clips, they are sometimes really hard to get out but they will come. sometimes a small jerking motion helps.

I zoom therefore I am.
If you've taken out the dreaded 10mm bolt of doom and the two screws at the bottom then the HU should be free.
It will take firm constant pulling to pop it loose. Some people have reported their wire harnesses catching behind the radio.. so if you have a friend with small hands have then reach behind the radio from the glove box (after it's removed) to play with the wires and make sure they're not catching.
