Subs are ok and if you want the brands to match then the amp is decent as well....but for that price you can get a much better kicker amp for a little cheaper.

The kappa 10's are great subs. I have a set.

I used to sell infinity audio and would suggest looking at another brand for the amp.

Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 70 dBA - Crappy
1% THD - Crappy

You'll be okay, given that both of these don't really matter if you're using the amp for a sub. However, for mids or highs, those numbers are pretty **** poor.

That is 70dBA @ 1 Watt. At 400 Watts, that 70dBA could easilly be, 70 + 26 = 96dBA, which is plenty good.

The 1% THD number has be seen in similar light. Yes, 1% is rather poor for the entire power range, but that is simply a common industry standard point to rate an amplifier's output. So the amp could very well be 0.01% at 400 Watts. Many times you will see multiple ratings for an amp: "0.01 THD at 100 Watts. 1% THD at 125 Watts." Or better yet you will see a graph.

Oh, and if you think 1% is crappy then you don't want to know how much THD your speakers actually create by themselves.

You're right... however we really don't know because they don't post those specs. I've always been a firm believer in the fact that if they don't post something, it's because it wasn't good enough to advertise.
