Look how hot the piano gloss headunit and A/C control panel is..... then it just stops abruptly as it hits the ash tray cover. Picture having the gloss black extend all the way down. Much nicer.

I don't paint. I know I'm never going to get a perfect color/texture/look match, so I'm not even about to hack some stuff up.
