I just wanted to ask a few questions about P.I.E products and it uses since im a total noob when it come to electronics.
In the first place what is the deffinitions of P.I.E?
The main idea is to Get an Ipod running in my rx8, along with converting/change the HU to have RCA inputs so it can go directly to the AMP, instead of the line converter method.


So I heard I can purchase a product from rx8garage.net called "P.I.E Mbus to RCA". Will this method convert me from using RCA from the HU to the AMP instead of using a line converter from the back speakers? I just want to make sure, so I can buy the right products and get this goal accomplish. Any inputs will help me out so much.

You can visit www.pie.net to get more information but the unit adds an auxilary input to your HU. (RCA) You can also buy the dension cable that allows you to control your ipod through the PIE adapter. There are a large number of threads that explain this.

thanks for the info. Yeah i tried the SEARCH button but they'ree alot of threads and i dont know which one i can start with.
