Well my head unit got a little messed up and when I press the CD button next to the Tape button there was no beep, and it would not go into CD mode.

Eject or Load button doesn't work either.

I tried pressing Mode on the steering wheel but that didn't work either.

Can I program the car to recognize the CD button again and go into CD mode?


Please help.

 

ok, I got to ask.... is there actually a cd in there? It wont go into "cd mode" with out a disk in the player.

Yeah there's a CD in there that worked the day before. The Cd was working when I turned the car off. The other mornig I turn the car on it says check disc so I press CD and it doesnt respond. Load and CD buttons didn't work either

 

Hi, i have the same problem. I was listening to my multi changer cd and it stopped playing ,it has all 6 cd'sin it but nothing happens. it won't eject or play but the radio works. Is this a common problem and does ay one know a cure?????????????

 

Try to unplug the radio or disconnect the battery. Please post if it works

 

does ur screen flicker at all? While driving keep an eye on it during bumps in the road

 

This may help:
Diagnostic Outputs. Look for "On-Board Diagnostic (Audio)" and try it.

 

I unplugged battery and it didnt make a difference.

If that doesnt work looks like i'll be looking at a pioneer with the metra kit, even though it'll set me back on the mods i was planning to put.....
