Maybe it's in another thread, but can you explain the symptoms? Any check engine codes?

I ran the codes and it showed a body code but it was a faulty coolant sensor and I replaced it (im a tech) but it wont come out of mode and it runs fine just wont go over 3k mazda told me it was limp mode, but my only guess is the humidity cause its been real high here lately and its been this way since yesterday ive done rebuilt the engine last week by mazda specifications and ive done this before ive rebuilt rotarys and also did a rx7 too so I know I didnt mess up on anything.

Most of the time limp mode with no code at all is due to the sensor switch.

Have you tried to adjust the switch position?

When you did the rebuild did you remove the sensor from the omp? even if you didn't it probably got knocked out of position. Also have you made sure both plugs are plugged into the omp.

if you moved the position switch then they will not do anything with it. mazda will want you to replace the entire omp for almost 1000 dollars before labor. Good luck i hope you don't ahve problems. it plaged me for a while after my rebuild.

Shouldn't a Tech that has rebuilt rotary engines know such things?

90F and im not sure what humidity was but it was pretty high, mazda told me that if humidity is up it can cause a rotary to act sometimes and I believe I found out what happened. The insulation right behind the engine looked like it had been chewed and I looked around an some wires looked chewed on. Im guessing a mouse got in my engine compartment, so at this point im not sure what to do. Wiring is my weak point so im gonna take it too mazda soon an see what they can do. One of the wires chewed goes to the MOF and the other runs from the wiring spider so idk which its going into
