How do you burn a Custom Aux-In CD???

Question How do you burn a Custom Aux-In CD???

Well, I went to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ipodrx8/ and did the mod.. well the cd he says you can download and burn yourself for free dont work for me.. i mean when i put it in cd player and turn ipod on it plays very low and i can have it full blast and still barley hear it. If i put in a regular cd it plays great but u can hear the other music in the background.. any ideas?? am i burning cd wrong? I cant get it to burn as a audio cd.. only a data cd.. is that whats the hang up is?? PLease Help!

that mod is not a very good one for that reason alone, having to run a CD with cuasses interfrence ... if you didn';t hack up your system to bad, why not just revert and do the PIE adaptor?

Assuming you have Winzip (on PC) or Stuffit (on Mac), you should be able to unzip it and drag-and-drop the .aiff to whatever burning software you have (why he bziped it instead of just-plain-old-ziped it is beyond me). You have to extract the file before you can burn it. If you can't, download <a href="http://audacity.sourceforge.net/">audacity</a> and create a blank audio file that is as long as your CD. Save it as a .wav, then burn it as an audio track.

Alternatively, if you are bored, you could use Sound Record on Windows. But it will take ages.

I recommend $50 for AuxMod Basic. It works great.
