Question Homelink and V1?

Bizzarro...
Pressing the Homelink garage door opener button causes the V1 to false on the X band... While the orig. door opener doesn't

The V1 is hardwired, but taped off a line under the fuse box, driver's side kick panel, not off the wires that run into the homelink, so there shouldn't be a power irregularity that causes the V1 to false.
